Today, we read a new book called What Do You Do With A Problem? by Kobi Yamada. It's a great story about what do when faced with challenges. We talked about how are brains help us through difficult situations and the importance of trying new things. We learn from the challenges we face and our brains grow stronger because of it. We created a chart to help us (and others) change their words into more positive mantras that can help us through difficult tasks. Be on the lookout for our display this week! Today in math we practiced math with someone. We learned two new games called Tens Go Fish and Turn Over Ten. These activities help us learn our combinations of ten facts. We are trying to build math fluency and an understanding of number relationships.
