In science we read All About Your Tongue and students participated in a taste test with salty, sweet, sour and bitter. We tasted Fritos, sugar cubes, bittersweet chocolate and lemons. Students recorded their observations in their science notebook.
In social studies we read Corn is Maize by Aliki. Corn means grain and the Native Americans used corn for many things.
In Math we worked on a place value review pack and students corrected their own work by using answer sheets hung up in the classroom. Some students did not finish and will work on them next week.
