This week Mrs. Ewenstein, Baker School's librarian, held a Caldecott Award celebration and unveiled this year's winners. 2C was able to go to the celebration with their 4G buddies! The 2015 gold medal winner is: The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend, illustrated and written by Dan Santat Students gathered to listen to the winning picture book read aloud and two honorary award winners: Sam & Dave Dig a Hole, illustrated by Jon Klassen, written by Mac Barnett and Nana in the City, written and illustrated by Lauren Castillo. |

Valentine's Day will be celebrated in school on Friday, February 13th.
February Vacation begins on Monday, February 16th-Friday February 20th. We will return to school on Monday, February 23rd.
