Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful winter break! We are back to a regular schedule and we have been busy! This week we have been learning about the Hopi tribe's homes called Pueblos. Pueblo is a Spanish word meaning "village." We read about pueblos of the southwest and created our own Hopi village. We used clay, tissue boxes, toothpicks and Popsicle sticks to create the village. We also made a backdrop using watercolor paints. Our display will be in the cases by the big gym, so please go check them out! The best projects are the messiest projects :)
