This week was a short but busy week. We practiced our evacuation and lockdown drills at the beginning of the week. Students did a great job following directions and walking to Temple Emeth during our evacuation drill.
On Wednesday, 2C read the book Everyone is a Scientist by Lisa Trumbauer and learned how to make an observational drawing in their science journals. Students observed shells and wrote what they noticed in their notebooks.
Halloween Parade - Friday, October 31st
Students are invited to wear costumes (if they choose) to school for the Halloween Parade outside on the basketball court. Parents are invited to watch the parade outside. Following the parade, students will return to the classroom and change back into their regular clothes. Please send your child to school wearing their costume and a change of clothes in their backpack.
